my name is mikka and welcome to my site! my goal with this website is for it to be some sort of media scrapbook or journal, so basically just my own little corner of the web where i write abt my problems and give film recs.
coding is kinda hard.

About Me:
I first started coding in 4th grade, with block coding. We we're learning abt it in ICT and I created a "labyrinth" game, on Scratch. I found it fascinating and continued to use the application for fun projects. Eventually I learnt a little abt javascript, though I never really did anything with it. There was a while where I learnt some python on CodeMonkey. I started learning html on neocities the summer before 6th grade. I kinda stopped doing it for a while, but a month or two into 6th grade I got back into it, and got thoroughly better!

My favorite book series is Percy Jackson and The Olympians (specifically the 3rd and 5th books)! I haven't read them or watched the series in such a long time. I barely remember half the story! I just know how much they affected 8 yr old me when I read them for the first time.

I would say that my favorite series is Criminal Minds, but I seem to have fallen off that horse for a while. I'm on season 5, and it's just not the same as season 1, yk? And my letterboxd activity has been more than a little slim. It's probs around the time for me to find some new hobbies!
